Course Overview
Join our bakery tutors on our new baking classes that will take you round the world on wonderful floury journey.
Each session will visit a different country/region and learn 3 of their classic baking delights. All classes will take place in our state-of-the-art baking school at Plumpton College.
You will get to take your bakes home, with all the recipes and know how so you can re-create in the home environment.
What you'll learn:
French baking
- A classic French baguette
- Madeleines – Beautiful buttery little cakes
- Macarons - Classic meringue style delights
Italian baking
- Classic Focaccia
- Biscotti – Twice baked biscuits
- Sicilian street pizza - A rustic style pizza
Eastern European baking
- Classic dark rye bread
- Babka a delicious style sweet bread
- Bagels
Course Cost
£145 for the full course.
Course Fees
Students aged 24+ who are studying a second Level 3 course or aged 24+ who are studying their first Level 3 course will have to pay tuition fees, depending on the course.
Students on low income who can prove they earn less than £25,000 (from September 2024); are unemployed; or receive state benefits could be entitled to a tuition fee waiver.
