Course Overview
This six-week course will teach you the theory and practice of making sparkling wine and sparkling apple cider at home using the traditional method.
You will be taught:
- How to press grapes and fruit
- How to set up and manage a primary ferment
- How to carry out 2nd fermentation in bottle
- How to disgorge and finish the wine and cider
- Important health and safety considerations
You will be taught by experienced winemakers and wine professional wine educators.
This course is part of the One Garden Brighton Night School. You'll be studying alongside others after hours, as our campus becomes a hive of activity for land-based learning.
You'll have exclusive access to our gardens and campus after the gates close, a chance to grab a drink or browse the shop before your course starts. You'll study as the sun sets around you in a beautiful setting, with contemporary themed gardens to explore.
