Thorough Examination of Arboricultural Lifting Equipment
LANTRA
This is a hands-on course that refreshes both practical skills and health and safety guidance as well as demonstrating that you and your employer have completed sufficient training to meet the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
This course is for Arboricultural ‘competent persons’ as defined by Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER). This course will typically suit you if you have a responsibility for ‘thorough examination’ in the course of your work. Examples would include: LOLER, examiners, supervisors, and foreman.

Entry Requirements
For persons carrying out a thorough examination they must have appropriate practical and theoretical knowledge and experience of the arboricultural lifting equipment to be thoroughly examined.
