The HE hardship fund is provided for use at the student’s discretion to assist with the study of the course for the academic year. This allocation is from a limited fund, once the fund has been exhausted, it will not be renewed until the following academic year.
This can range from £600 - £1000 depending on household income and the students assessed need for assistance. The evidence provided must demonstrate that the student is in dire financial need which could impact their study and completion of their course.
If awarded the bursary assistance the payments will be made at three intervals throughout the academic year. Students who withdraw from their course between payments will not be eligible for the remaining payments.
