Description

Grounds Maintenance of residential estates, educational grounds and , to include mowing, strimming, leaf clearance, planting, weeding, edging and maintaining grounds to a high standard. Planting and maintaining plants, trees, shrubs. Operation of

- Planting grass, shrubs, trees, bulbs and flowers.

- Install and maintain; fences, gates, retaining walls, rock gardens and other design features.

- Dig trenches and level grounds

- Keep outdoor furniture clean and in good repair.

- Apply mulch, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. (certified Sprayer)

- Maintain green spaces by weeding, trimming, and pruning.

- Remove unwanted or unhealthy plants, shrubs, and trees, as well as downed limbs.

- Operates hand tools and power equipment, including mowers, leaf-blowers, strimmer’s, backhoes, spade, shovel, ride on mower, various hand tools, saw and chipper. (appropriate training and demonstrations provided)

- Provide advice to clients and takes direction from them

- Waters lawns and gardens.

- Install and maintain irrigation systems.

- Rake leaves and other vegetation from lawns and flower beds.

- Remove litter and other debris from outdoor areas.

- Operate snow removal equipment and shovel walkways.

- Works with other maintenance crew and construction specialists as needed.

- Care for tools and equipment including daily and scheduled maintenance.

- Build and renovates stone pathways, patios, and ledges.

- Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles

- Adhere to all safety precautions, protocols, rules and regulations for each working environment
