Frogheath Landscapes is a multi-awarding winning design and build landscaping company. Trading for over 25 years we are members of the Association for Professional Landscapers and pride ourselves on providing high quality hard and soft landscaping projects for mainly residential clients in the South East.

 

We are looking for an experienced landscaper with a proven track record for delivery of high quality work on time and to budget. If you are a problem solver with a can do attitude, are well presented and a proven team player then this may be the role for you.

 

Your experience will ensure that you are capable of working under a supervisor, managing a small team for a short period or working alone. You will also be involved with employee training & development to ensure safe use of all machinery, equipment and tools and to encourage progression and improvement of skills.

 

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Honest, reliable and a good time-keeper

• 3–5 years’ industry experience in hard and soft landscaping

• Full clean UK driving license

• Ability to work alone or as part of a team

• Ability to manage small projects or a small team

• Attention to detail and quality of work

• Excellent time management skills

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal, including communication with clients

 

Desired Skills:

• Health & Safety and manual handling knowledge

• Basic IT skills

• Ability to set out, including levels, from scale drawings

• Experienced digger and dumper operator (certified desirable)

• Construction and installation of water features

• Groundwork, footings, shed bases and screeding

• Brickwork, blockwork and pointing; including retaining walls, steps and terraces

• Dry stone walling

• Fencing, decking, raised beds and timber constructions e.g. pergolas

• Drainage and manhole installation

• Paving including block paving and porcelain paving

• Turfing and seeding

• Planting, pruning and hedge cutting

• Bed preparation, weeding and mulching

• Rendering and irrigation knowledge are desirable

• Towing and Chainsaw licenses are desirable
