Student Union

Our busy and vibrant Student Union is at the heart of college life

Run by the students, for the students, we work hard to make sure you are represented at every level of your learner journey through focus groups, forums and regular meetings with the senior management team.

We also want to make sure you have a great college experience outside of the classroom so you will find a full and varied social calendar with a range of clubs, events, projects and activities. We welcome new ideas too, and pride ourselves on our events being student lead and initiated.

When you join Plumpton College, you’ll automatically become a member of our Students Union (although you can opt out). Our union is one of more than 600 colleges, all affiliated with the NUS (National Union of Students).

Being a part of the NUS give us access to and keeps us connected to student voice and student activities across the country. It also means that our students have access to a wide range of student discounts in the form of the NUS discount card (now known as TOTUM).

The TOTUM card gives you over 200 discounts in well-known high street shops, travel, food and entertainment.
