This month, Plumpton College successfully launched its pilot ‘Entry Into Viticulture’ Programme; a free and intensive, one-week skills development programme. It is designed in cooperation with the English wine industry and aimed at supporting individuals looking for a career change, or for those recently been made redundant, to help them to find employment by providing the necessary operative training.

Government bonus for businesses to hire apprentices commences
The government's plan for jobs will help to kickstart the nation's economic recovery and in recognition of the value apprentices can bring to our economy, an incentive payment will be made to employers who hire an apprentice between 1 August 2020 and 31 January 2021.

At Plumpton College, we have the honour of having a variety of ex-competition horses either gifted to us or loaned to the Equine department.

Today the college finally received closure on a sensitive and important matter relating to our farm. The pollution incident in question happened in November 2016.
