Admissions and our intake for September 2020

00:00 - 00:00

We would like to reassure all those who have applied for places to study at Plumpton this coming September. If you have already been offered a place at the college we are still looking forward to welcoming you regardless of how events over recent weeks may have affected your current position in terms of studies or employment.  We are also continuing to process applications and interview prospective students.

The college is proactively planning for the start of the year being in September. All of our admissions procedures are still in place to ensure that new and returning students are sufficiently prepared and supported to be able to start the year as seamlessly as possible. Some of these have been adjusted, such as interviews for new applicants now being undertaken via video or telephone conferencing, whilst we are looking at alternative ways to maintain contact with new students and their parents over the summer term and ensure you have all the necessary information you need.

If you were due to sit your GCSEs this summer, please continue to follow the advice given to you by your school, with whom we will work closely next term.

If you are studying a vocational qualification at Plumpton or an alternative educational provider, it is important that you also continue to follow the advice of your tutors who will be focused on helping to ensure you are still able to achieve your qualification this year.

As soon as the college has further guidance from awarding bodies regarding the completion of GCSEs, or other exams, we will be in touch with you directly.

If you have any specific queries regarding your place at Plumpton, please contact our Enquiries, Advice and Guidance team by emailing enquiries@plumpton.ac.uk
