Big Bill Hill Run 2012
00:00 - 00:00
A timed run from the front door of the College to the top of the downs and back again is a periodic event held at the College although it hasn't been held for several years.
This year Bill Buckingham a member of the College's Outdoor Education Department staff ‘ reintroduced’ the event and 15 students and staff ran the course.
The course is a direct run from the front of the College to the top of the downs and back and involves a climb of over 500 feet.
It is only for the very fit!
The winner of this year's race was Russ Blackaller with a winning time of 10 minutes 49 seconds.
The photos show the completing participants, the steep side of the downs up which competitors run and runners on the course along with a list of the finish times.
