CPD for RVNs, SVNs and Vets: The Benefits of Vet Physio and Rehabilitation to a Patient's Recovery

Join us for an evening with Katie Lawrence, a registered Veterinary Physiotherapist who will share her expertise and discuss the importance of veterinary physiotherapy and rehabilitation in aiding a patient's recovery.
This CPD is suitable for RVNs, SVNs and Vets.
Katie Lawrence is the CEO of Animal Rehabilitation & Health Academy and a founding board member of the Animal Health Professions’ Register (AHPR). Since 2003, she has been training Equine and Canine therapists and Veterinary Nurses. She has developed many courses, including vocational diplomas and an undergraduate degree in BSc (Hons) Veterinary Physiotherapy delivered by Plumpton College. Katie is a founding board member of the Animal Health Professions’ Register (AHPR) and aims to share knowledge and methods far and wide so that many more animals can reap the benefits of rehabilitation and corrective exercise.

All ticket proceeds will be donated to ‘The Neuter Project’, founded by the Retreat Animal Rescue Farm Sanctuary, based in Kent. The sanctuary is an RCVS registered veterinary practice offering free neutering to small independent rescues where possible and offers sanctuary to over 2000 farm animals, including cows, horses, pigs, goats, donkeys, geese, turkeys, hens, peacocks, and pigeons, as well as any wildlife that needs help.
