Floristry Student Wins Sussex Learner of the Year

Plumpton College floristry student Sara Greenwood was the winner of the City and Guilds Sussex Learner of the Year category at the FE Sussex Spring Award ceremony held at The Hilton Metropole Hotel, Brighton on Thursday, 27 March.

She joined many award winners at an ‘Oscars’ style event to receive her award and certificate.

Sara’s floristry  tutor Stephanie Willoughby said, “We are very proud of her achievements, this award is well deserved and shows her commitment to her studies and her family and also is a recognition of her determination to succeed.”

The awards are the annual celebration of remarkable achievements by students in post-16 Sussex FE Colleges.
