Forestry and Arboriculture Department Work with the National Trust

During March the Forestry and Arboriculture Department travelled to Cragside, in Northumberland to work with the National Trust. We worked with the head forester on some of their magnificent pine trees and students climbed some of largest trees in England.

Last weekend was the East of England Climbers & Cutters Competition in Norwich. The Department sent a team and had a great time competing in lots of different events, including poll climbing, a work climb, felling and log splitting.
