Funding puts One Market at One Garden Brighton on the map
00:00 - 00:00
With the exciting opening of One Garden Brighton at the end of March 2021, Plumpton College is delighted that funding from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development has been used to set up the new One Market shop.
As part of One Garden Brighton, this vibrant community food market and retail space will be one of the main focal points of the new attraction. From representing small, local and independent producers, to hosting business workshops and community activities in the market atrium, One Market will be a truly innovate space.
It will also be a showcase for the future of horticultural innovation and technology with a window into the One Garden growing space that will be utilised by students. Here, the latest concepts in horticulture automation will be on view for all to see.
One Market will stock a range of local fresh produce, baked goods, deli items and gifts, as well as Plumpton Estate award winning wine, cheese and meat all produced at the Plumpton College campus. Here you will find all the ingredients needed for a meal at home, inspired by the menu in the new café, One Kitchen.
In the One Market atrium, learn from local creators and the Plumpton College team at the workshop table and leave with a new skill. Through education and experience, we aim to deliver products that are bred, grown, fed and crafted using the natural resources provided by the historic South Downs.
