Heavy Horse Young Handler Success 2012

Emily Bell, a Level 3 second year student at Plumpton College; Competed at The Edenbridge & Oxted show in the Young Handler class, with one of the College’s Heavy Horses.

She won her class showing skills in handling and communication  with her horse ‘Dicky Boy’. This gave her qualification to the next round of the competition which was to be held in Uttoxeter at the Midland Shire horse show & sale.

There was stiff competition, with Emily and ‘Dick’ gaining the ‘Runner up’ spot.

Well done to both of them for an excellent display on both days.

Plumpton College Heavy Horses, Dick & Magnum will be seen at the County Shows during 2013, and the College Open Day on Saturday May 11th come along and meet them!
