Hope in the Valley group (RDA) celebrate Christmas at Plumpton College
00:00 - 00:00
Santa Claus made an early visit to the Hope in the Valley riding group, based at Plumpton College. The group offers weekly riding lessons for physically disabled children. Riding lessons are held in one of the full-sized indoor arena at the College and in fine weather the riders can enjoy a hack around the College estate. As well as weekly term-time riding, all the riders also participate in horse-care classes. As a group they participate in RDA (Riding for the Disabled Association) grade exams, gymkhanas, rallies and compete annually in dressage at Hickstead. Hope in the Valley is staffed entirely by volunteers and funded wholly by donations and bequests.
