Local college turns water into wine
26 January 2017 17:02 - 17:02
A business networking event organised by Lewes Chamber of Commerce at the Town Hall has attracted over 30 business owners sampling locally produced wines.
Wine-makers at Plumpton College Estate opened bottles of red, white and rose on offer at trade prices. The wines are crafted by students on degree courses taught by professionally qualified wine-makers.
Business managers led by Chamber President Clare Crouch, who runs design service HRS Creative enjoyed a free 2 hour tasting. The Chamber offers monthly networking events at prestigious locations supporting business growth.
New member Clive Bonny MD at Strategic Management Partners says
this event introduced me to successful people involved in sport, jewellery, wills, care homes and construction. My businesses include health care products, trademark design protection, and PassivPod eco-buildings, so these events are perfect for making new contacts.
