Nyetimber Work Experience for Wine Students

The Plumpton Wine Department is excited to announce that England's leading producer of sparkling wine, Nyetimber is inviting Plumpton students from the wine department to an amazing opportunity to gain industry experience.

Nyetimber will open this work experience to two students– one FdA Wine Business student, and one FdSc Wine Production student to gain work experience in a variety of disciplines and departments at the producer over a period of 10 days during the Spring/Summer Term 2020. 

The successful applicants will have the opportunity to shadow members of the marketing, sales, vineyard and winery teams at the pioneering English winery. This is a unique chance to see the inner workings of Nyetimber and gain expertise in all areas of the award-winning business. Activities undertaken during the work experience will vary from attending Nyetimber events and/or wine tastings, visiting on-trade/off-trade accounts with the sales teams and shadowing vineyard tours, to assisting with vineyard maintenance, bottling, disgorging and other aspects of the production process.
