Plumpton College Open Day 2024!

Our gorgeous campus was buzzing with exhibitors from far and wide as the college grounds were transformed with a range of stalls, attractions, and activities to explore. More Radio brought the tunes to the campus and the sun was shining!

There was also a variety of craft stalls selling beautiful jewellery, artwork, toys and more within our AgriFood Centre and throughout the site, and food and refreshment stalls were dotted around the campus, offering a variety of local cuisine and homemade treats.

Our Principal, Jeremy Kerswell, was joined by our bakery team and an apprentice student to form a judging panel for the Student Bake Off, an Olympic-themed bakery competition for year 9 and 10 students from local schools. It was a joy to host a fantastic competition in our training kitchens, and congratulations to all of the star bakers who participated, and to the winners from Warden Park Secondary Academy (pictured below) who produced a very colourful and technically brilliant cake featuring macaroons!

This was yet again another great day and we look forward to hosting it again in 2025!
