Plumpton College Sailing Academy

The College Sailing Academy is based at Piddinghoe Lake, which is situated only 5 miles from the College. Currently around 20 students are participating every week. In addition to College staff who are assisted by student dingy instructors we have invaluable help from members of the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club who will help enormously to develop this facility for the College.
The venue is an ideal one for learning to sail and enables students to develop their skills before taking to the sea or using the facilities at the Colleges Snowdonia centre.

Since the original 400-acre College farm was bought back in 1919, Plumpton College has certainly seen a lot of changes.
