Plumpton College staff and students attend many shows and events, both in the UK and overseas, to promote the courses, apprenticeships and training opportunities at the College. - Heathfield show: Plumpton College stand won first prize at Heathfield and the College also showed dairy and beef cattle and pigs and provided a shearing demonstration. Equine students were the arena party, forestry department provided an excellent demonstration in their area and the floristry department were busy doing buttonholes. A lot of staff and student efforts went into all of this show.
- Surrey County show: The College shows display careers caravan was present, with information about the wide range of courses, apprenticeships and training opportunities. College cattle was shown - a busy day despite being very wet.
- Borde Hill Horse trials: Courses and careers promotion with a specialism in equine courses, apprenticeships and training.
