The number of orchids has declined dramatically in recent years. The South Downs are one of the plant's last strongholds. And an ambitious project has been launched to boost their numbers.
Students at Plumpton College in Sussex are helping to raise thousands of orchid plants in nurseries so they can be re-introduced into the wild. Watch Malcolm Shaw's report.
