Are you an experienced equine professional with a passion for education and a drive to lead exceptional academic and vocational learning? Join Plumpton College and play a key role in shaping the next generation of equine professionals. 

We are seeking a dynamic and committed Equine Programme Manager to lead and develop our Level 3 and Higher Education equine programmes. This is a high-impact role suited to an ambitious individual with industry expertise, outstanding teaching skills, and experience in managing curriculum delivery. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Leading the planning, coordination, and quality assurance of Level 3 and HE equine courses 

  • Delivering and managing outstanding teaching, learning and assessment 

  • Supporting students’ academic progress, personal development, and progression into employment or further study 

  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a high-quality student experience 

  • Managing resources, timetables, and staff to ensure smooth programme operations 

  • Driving improvements through quality assurance processes and continuous professional development 

What we’re looking for: 

  • A degree or equivalent professional qualification in equine or a related discipline 

  • A recognised teaching qualification 

  • Extensive sector experience, including at least BHS Stage 2 Complete (Stage 3 desirable) 

  • Experience of teaching and leading educational programmes to a consistently high standard 

  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and leadership skills 

  • A student-centred approach with a passion for inspiring others
