Are you passionate about wine and looking to take your sales career to the next level? Plumpton College, a leader in wine education and production, is searching for a dynamic Wine Sales Manager to champion our exceptional range of wines and grow our presence in the industry.
What You’ll Do:
As the Wine Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the success of Plumpton’s wine portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
- Client Relationships: Manage and expand our existing accounts while building new business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Achieve volume, revenue, and profit targets through innovative sales strategies and excellent customer service.
- Brand Building: Represent Plumpton College at tastings, events, and shows to promote our wines and connect with industry professionals.
- Operations Excellence: Oversee logistics, stock allocations, and administrative processes to ensure smooth operations.
- Ambassadorship: Work closely with students to foster their involvement in wine promotional activities and maintain Plumpton’s reputation for excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a candidate who embodies our core values—Ambition, Professionalism, and Passion. The ideal candidate will have:
- Essential Skills:
- Proven sales expertise, ideally in the wine industry.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and stock management systems.
- A confident, can-do attitude and adaptability to diverse tasks.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 10kg.
- Desirable Attributes:
- WSET Advanced Level Three qualification.
- Prior wine sales experience and a deep enthusiasm for the industry.
- Access to personal transportation.
